Randall Price

tl_files/der_messias_im_tempel/images/randallprice.jpgDr. Randall Price, born 1951, is married with his wife Beverlee and has five children. He is regarded as one of the leading evangelical authorities on the subjects of Temple, biblical prophecy, and the Middle East.

He holds a Th.M. in Old Testament and Semitic Languages from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas (Austin). He has also done graduate study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the fields of Semitic languages, Talmud, and archaeology.

Dr. Randall Price has conducted archaeological excavations in Israel in Jerusalem and Tel-Yinam in Galilee, and is director of excavations for the Qumran Plateau Excavation Project in Israel since 2002, which is currently remains of the community that preserved and produced the Dead Sea Scrolls. Dr Randall Price is Distinguished Research Professor and Executive Director of the Center for Judaic Studies at Liberty University. He is also Adjunct Professor of Apologetics at Veritas Seminary (San Diego, California).

He has taught Biblical Archaeology at the University of Texas and in the Department of Archaeology and Biblical History at Trinity Southwest Seminary in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Dr Randall Price is the biblical and archaeological advisor for The Messiah In The Temple project.

In 1993 he founded World of the Bible Ministries, Inc and serves as President of World of the Bible Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and communication of the past, present and prophetic world of the Bible. In this capacity he speaks at conferences and lectureships internationally and has led over 75 tours to the Bible lands through his World of the Bible Tour program.

Dr. Price has authored or co-authored more than 20 books on the subjects of biblical archaeology and the Middle East conflict, including In Search of the Ark of the Covenant (Harvest House Publishers, 2004), In Search of the Original Bible (Harvest House Publishers, 2007), The Stones Cry Out: What Archaeology Reveals about the Truth of the Bible (Harvest House, 1997), The Temple in Bible Prophecy (Harvest House, 2003)

He has produced five television documentaries and appeared on national television programs including the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and National Geographic. He has also appeared in two CBS specials Ancient Secrets of the Bible and Ancient Secrets of the Bible II, the Inspiration Network special Uncovering the Truth about Jesus, and appeared in 15 episodes of the PAX series Encounters with the Unexplained.
